Let me introduce myself - My name is Shang Lai Chan and I live in Essex and work based in London . I came from Hong Kong China originally and have been living in UK since 1990. It was a great adventure for me to leave home and come to London to pursue my dream.

Living in a dream and turning dreams into reality are totally different. Living in a dream only happens in our head. It is a fantasy and it is not real. But we have the power to turn our dreams into reality as the most intelligent species in this planet, we have this potential! We can make everything possible, only when you believe yourself enough.

I believe passionately the power and ability within us. That is a gift for us. We should not be forgot about it or waste it. We should use that power and ability to get what we want in life and share it with others.

Before I came to London I qualified as a professional actor in 1987 and I have trained as a singer by profession vocal coach legend Stevie Lange. She worked with Lulu, Blue, Jamie Cullum, KT Tunstall and many more.

I graduated from London College of Printing in 1995 with a graphic design degree and I won myself an award for my Walt’s Disney Calendar from the National Business Calendar Competition in 1991. At the point I was over the moon, as I was never good at school when I was a child, until I found my strength and talents in graphic design.

After I left college I have been worked in graphic and fashion industries in the last 12 years as a graphic/web designer, marketing researcher and IT consultant.

After all the twists and turns I came to the path, which will take me to where I wanted to be, namely helping others to turn their dreams became reality. I find it is satisfying, enjoyable and meaningful being a life coach.

In 2005 signed up with The Coaching Academy wanted to become a personal life coach. Then my coaching career journey started.

In 2007 I became a professional certified personal life coach with The Coaching Academy UK , which is the largest coach training organisation in Europe and a member of International Coach Federation (ICF), which is a leading global coaching organization. ICF provides the finest coaches with ethical professional standards.
